According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Yuma has more sunshine that any other place on earth - more than 4000 hours of sunshine a year. Over 90 percent of the daylight in Yuma is sunny, averaging year-round over 11 hours of sunshine per day. Yuma is also the winter vegetable capital of the world supplying a whopping 90% of the nations leafy vegetables between November and March; here's a short video about Yuma's agriculture.
